    • Assist Store Director and Store Assistant Director in responsibility of the store.
    • Forecast/reforecast business, focusing on productivity to meet sales goals.
    • Identify opportunities to drive traffic into the store through community events (weddings, parties, etc.).
    • Help Store Manager in identifying training needs and providing ongoing training opportunities to the team as needed.
    • Assist in hiring to the needs of the business, actively recruiting to ensure open positions are filled quickly.
    • Ensure company standards are met for store and associate appearance at all times.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute all Merchandise Calendar direction, campaigns, and sales promotions in a timely manner.
    • Ensure all pricing, signage, and displays are correct at all times.
    • Control inventory stock levels and reorder as necessary within budget.
    • Enforce all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security.
    • Manage and control shrink.
    • Other duties as directed by upper management.What You Will Bring:
      • 3-5 years of experience as a grocery assistant store manager or equivalent management experience.
      • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
      • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong project management skills.
      • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal and external customers.
      • Collaborate with staff to list expected deliveries.
      • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
      • Unload packages from incoming trucks.
      • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
      • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.).
      • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements.
      • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
