OyBar Job DescriptionJob Title: Garde Manger/Cold Line CookJob Summary:OyBar in Studio City is seeking a skilled Garde Manger/Cold Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including salads, small plates, and other cold-line menu items. • Execute menu items as directed by Chefs
• Daily food prep and recipe maintenance
• Quality Control
• Show up on time to scheduled shifts
• Prepping, Setting up and Breaking down
• Cleaning station and kitchen during and after service
• Assisting others in all positions as needed
• Following food safety protocolsQualifications:
  • Professional culinary experience preferred, ideally with time in a fast-paced/high volume kitchen
  • Good team player
  • Organized
  • Reliable
  • Plating and Presentation
  • Communication
  • Patience
  • Food Prep
  • Serv Safe or other California Food Handler's Card current
  • Standing for Long Periods of Time
  • Knowledge of Allergens and Food Safety
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ability to Repeat Tasks
  • Ability to multitask, and prioritize in fast-paced kitchen/service environment
  • Time management skills
  • Knowledge of California Health and Safety Standards
  • Intermediate to Advanced Knife Skills

  • Organizational SkillsCompensation: $20.00/hr + tips (depending on experience and responsibilities taken can go up from there). Employee meals and discounts.
