Description
Under general direction by the Department Director, and in
collaboration with the Medical Director of Radiology, staff
radiologists, and other members of the medical staff, the Radiology
Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the
department and assists the Director and Manager with those
management functions for which the Director is accountable. The
Radiology Supervisor is technically and clinically competent in
radiologic technology for all ages served: infant, child,
adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Demonstrates and adheres to
department standards and serves as an administrative and clinical
resource for department staff. Clinical and technical
responsibilities account worked hours as needed. Serves as a
customer service representative to patients, their families, the
public, the medical staff and all caregivers. Participates in
quality assurance and organizational improvement activities.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation
may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or
bonus opportunities.
